Wow, this one brings me back. This is a vintage late 70s or very early 80s Banana Republic double breasted chunky wide rib, deep V cardigan sweater in tan marl. 100% cotton yarn. This cardigan is from before Banana Republic was sold to Gap in 1983, and it was still privately owned by its founders and called Banana Republic Safari and Travel Clothing Company (and I remember my local store had a very Safari theme with a red biplane hanging from the ceiling). As such the sweater dates from 1978 to 1983. Tag size medium. 21 inches shoulder to hem and 20 inches armpit to armpit. Made in Hong Kong. No noted flaws.
