A Vintage Firebird Revived as a Modern Classic: The Epiphone Ltd. Ed. Joe Bonamassa "Treasure" Firebird-I Outfit is a faithful homage to Joe's 1963 original Firebird. In collaboration with the esteemed craftsmen at Epiphone in Nashville, Tennessee, Joe Bonamassa endeavoured to reproduce his unique, single-pickup Firebird from the inaugural year of its manufacture at the combined Epiphone & Gibson facility in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Joe attests that the Epiphone "Treasure" Firebird-I has not only met but surpassed his expectations. "This guitar is named 'Treasure' after the '63 Firebird that was generously given to me four years ago," Bonamassa explained. "Comparing the new Epiphone side by side with my two original '63s, the Epiphone versions both play and sound superior!"
This beautiful bird presents in near-new condition, with hardly a mark on it - and stock like it came out of the factory. Super fun to play with plenty of gorgeous tone coming from the single Probucker pickup - a tip of the hat to one of the best to do it, and an absolute rocker at an affordable price!
Comes in its original Epiphone gigbag.
