The gorgeous applique pieces on the back are made from  antique hand embroidered textiles that were burred away in attic for who knows how long and gifted to us by a friend.

A lot of handmade love was out into adorning this piece and I'm very happy with the end  result, perhaps you can even add  to the vest with different patches you collect on your wanderlusting journeys over time? That's what makes Upcycled Fashion so wonderful, it tells a story! :)
